Inu lay on the stone, his breathing deep and slow. Boredom was taking a serious toll on the young dragon, he needed something to do.

Mao yawned and looked around, seeing Inu. He walked up to him and prodded him. "Come on I'm bored." He grunted. "Wanna go hunting or something?"

Inu grunted, sitting up. His red scales were dull. "I just got finished hunting." he growled, looking at the stone floor.

"I'll take that as an or something then." Mao yawned again, spreading his wings. "Well, I'm gonna go montiter the herd. We don't know if they are going to move or anything. Wanna come?"

Inu stood up, "It's better than laying around here." he growled as he leaped forward, spiralling in the air. He opened his wings and began to fly.

Mao yawned yet again and flapped his wings twice, bringing him up to the same level as Inu. "Race ya!" The black dragon grinned, already flying ahead. His greater wingspan should mean he would win. Or at least that was what he thought.

Inu returned the grin, he was smaller, with wings to big for his size. He should have greater speed, but who knew what would happen. "You're on!" he growled, closing his wings halfway to steady himself, he was level. He shut his wings and began to fall like a missile to the herd, already two griffins-lengths ahead from Mao.

Mao let out a jet of blue flame that licked at Inu's tail. He growled and advaned, half a dragon-length ahead now.

Inu dare not move his tail, it would throw him off his landing point. He opened his wings, flapped ahead twice and closed them shut again, he was a living rocket.

Mao snorted and kept gliding. Every now and then he would flap his wings. He was still ahead.

Inu saw his landing point ahead, he opened his wings a last time, diving down. His lips were blown back as he went straight down, he pulled up at the last second and shut his wings. He landed roughly on the ground, he fell after stumbling a few moments.

Mao looked down, saw Inu landing and began to fly up and up, till he was barly visable. Then he turned, faced downwards, foldeed his wings and plummeted down at an increadible speed.

Inu got up from the ground, shaking himself. Dirt and rubble fell off his scales like water off a fish. "That's better." he saw Mao make for the ground and watched. How's he gonna land?

Mao gave a grin and kept tumbling down. The seconds passed and the distance shortened. Just when it seemed he was going to crash into the ground he pulled up and landed. "What you starin at?" He growled.

OOC: YAY FOR TUMBLER DRAGONS!

ooc: *raises both hands* YIPEE!!

Inu barely kept from laughing. "That looked dumber than my landing!" he teased. He was sitting down now, only a little dust on his scales.

"Your just jelous." Mao grinned.

"Jealous I can't spin like an idiot like you do? I don't think so." Inu smiled, his tail waving. "Come on, we'd better go and find the herds." he started stalking forward, keeping his body a fair distance close to the ground.

Mao laughed and stumbled after Inu, scenting.

Inu smiled as he kept moving forward, stalking the herd. He caught the heavy scent of pegasus up ahead. "Over there, Northeast." he whispered, keeping downwind of his prey.
