Hunting and Messing Around

Henro took a small bite out of the rabbit he had caught, savoring the scrap. He yawned, picked up the rabbit in his mouth, and buried it under a tree root. He lifted his nose to the air, scenting plenty more prey waiting to be hunted all around. He licked his chops, and set off.

"Shey, if momma catches us out here she'll bite our heads off!" the golden pup bounded after his brother, wings spread awkwardly at his sides.
"Ko, you're such a worrywart!" the other pup slowed, bouncing by Kohaku's side. "We'll just snag a rabbit or two..."
"We're barely much bigger than these fat rabbits anyhow!"
Sheyno rolled his eyes. "Need I repeat myself, Ko?" he turned around to face his brother and crouched, unfolding his black wings and swishing his tail. "You worry too much!"
Kohaku stuck his tongue out. "Do not!"
Sheyno pounced on his brother, growling playfully, "Do too!"

Madaru poped out of the bushes and greeted henro. "These rabbits are getting too fat." he said with a smile on his face.
