Tornjak

Tornjak had ventured past the mountains, finding this place. His muscles showed beneath his brown pelt as he explored inside. What was this place for?

Ribanurn let out a low, menacing growl as he hid in the shadows. His dragon head hissed and flicked its tongue, like a snake. The goat head just blinked.
What a stupid head.
Ribanurn stalked in a full circle around the griffin, feline eyes reflecting what little light was filtering in from the entrance he was now blocking. Drawing himself to his full height, he bellowed, "State your presence, wanderer!"

Tornjak was not intimidated. He stood his full height, holding his head high as he looked into the eyes of the creature before him. "Wandering." he growled.

He slid his claws in and out of their sheaths and snarled. "All those wandering have purposes." he scowled. "What is yours?" his voice raised and it echoed on the cave walls.

Tornjak held his tongue. He wouldn't hiss back. Instead he continued to growl. "I only want to know what is here, beast." he snarled back.

Ribanurn huffed, smoke puffing from his dragon head's mouth. "Me and only me," he rumbled. "At least in the cave."

Tornjak didn't believe him. "Then what is behind me? I can see a door, I'm not a blind pheonix, beast." he continued growling.

"And how do I prove myself worthy?" Tornjak unfolded his wings and flexed his muscles. He let his claws run into the hard stone.

He dug his claws into the cold stone floor, lashing his tail. "By defeating me in battle," he bared his teeth with a menacing growl.

"Then we shall battle." Tornjak snarled, his beak was sharp as steel and his wings were as wide as this beast's body.

"As you wish." Ribanurn bunched his muscles, prepared to fight. He growled and bared his teeth again, his dragon head spitting out a small flame. It roared, another blaze erupting from its mouth. "Make your move," he rumbled.

Tornjak saw a decent sized rock beside where he stand, he grabbed it in his beak and spat it at the beast. As the boulder flew through the air, he jumped up and glided onto the beasts back and began tearing.

He caught the rock in his mouth and crushed it easily into rubble in his powerful jaws. Ribanurn roared as the griffin attacked, and reared onto his back legs. He rolled over onto his back, crushing Tornjak into the earth.

Tornjak hung on for dear life as he felt the air squeezed out of him. He released his claws and quickly clung back on.

Ribanurn snarled and twisted his head around, snapping at the griffin. He hauled himself back up to his paws, Tornjak's talons like sharp rocks in his sides. His dragon head swung around, loosing a jet of flame at Tornjak.

Tornjak quickly ducked under the beast's wings(?) as it tried to snap at him. He felt a hot flame on his feathers and he quickly jumped off. He flapped his eagle-like wings furiously to put out the flame. Once done, he dove right to the dragon head. It was the most dangerous.

Ribanurn's eyes stung as smoke floated into his face(s?). He shook his head violently and quickly turned back to the griffin as it dove for his dragon head. The head spewed another fireball from its mouth, right at Tornjak.

Tornjak dove under the fireball and landed on the creature's shoulders, or he at least he tried to. He dug his back claws into something. He tried to wrap his tail tightly around one throat, push his claws into another, and pin the last through with his sharp beak. He wouldn't kill it, that was against the code.

A choked roar escaped his muzzle as the griffin's tail coiled around his neck, its claws digging into the dragon's neck and its sharp beak nearly missing the goat's. (gah undone)

"Give up, beast." Tornjak growled, tightning his grip on the two throats.
